Arguably, one of the most convincing acts of a married man, ever by an American actor, Michael Douglas who plays the “Dan Gallaghar” in this psychological thriller directed by Adrian Lyne. Impressively Michael delivers a brilliant act which leaves you in doubt about whether he really have a fatal attraction while shooting for a realistic touch (which in fact is not true). But undoubtedly, his act in the movie, can easily be rated as one of his ten best performances till date.
Equally believable and emotional is Glenn Claus in the role of ”Alexandra Alex Forest” who is responsible for the fatal attraction of the dan gallaghar in absence of his wife. Their scenes together are well written and highly psychological capable of bringing tears to your eyes. Especially, Glenn Claus’s death scene shot in sync sound is one of the most memorable scenes of the movie. Interestingly, psychiatric diognisis is also used in a very entertaining way along with soothing melodies in this unforgettable flick. One of the best scores by Maurice Jarre, featuring many hit & famous numbers . A not to be missed pure Hollywood style psychological thriller.
