Jagged Edge(1985)-(Movies To See Before You Die-Crime)

An important, realistic movie made by Richard Marquand on a very socially relevant topic even today. It’s Stupid but slick and entertaining. It’s about Rich Page Forrester and her maid are brutally killed (on a dark and stormy night no less). Her husband Jack (Jeff Bridges) comes under immediate suspicion. High priced lawyer Teddy Barnes (Glenn Close) defends him. 

Glenn Close looks stunningly innocent as Teddy Barnes and Jeff Bridges is simply lovable as Jack Forrester who plans all the false staging. A well written movie, enlightening the viewer on how   she immediately falls in love with him...but is he the killer?  A true masterpiece, simply to be seen as a compulsion for all movie lovers and students of cinema.
