Bhadra(2005)-(Movies To See Before You Die-Romance)

The most famous movie from the Shri Venkateshwara Creations which had Gunashekhar’s Okkadu  reharshed on the screen in an impressive way. It is an unconventional story about following your heart over your mind. It’s about the choices we make in our lives, the work we choose to do for our living and the regrets we have at the back of our minds about our choices made.
The story revolves around  Veera Bhadram aka Bhadra (Ravi Teja) is good friends with Raja (Deepak). Bhadra falls in love at the first sight with Raja's sister Anu (Meera Jasmine) when he sees her on a video. Bhadra pays a visit to the house of Raja to get familiarize with her. Incidentally, Raja's family is highly involved in feud factions. And the family of Raja is erased by faction leader Veeraiah (Pradeep Rawat). Bhadra rescues Anu and takes her to his home. The rest of the story is all about how he protects her and eliminates the gang of Veeraiah in that process. It’s unarguably the best film of both actor Ravi Theja and director Boyapati seenuA massy film which has many elements blended together as different colours sprayed on a white canvas. Love, Betrayal, Passion, Art, Success and Failure, all aspects of life are portrayed in a very true form by the director.

Interestingly, it was made in two versions, one in Tamil for the tamil viewers and one in Kannada for the Kannada Audiences. The Tamil version was released even before the release of the Kannada version as Silambarasan was more confident of its success in the west. Credit for the success of the movie also goes to its melodious music by Devisri Prasad, wherein each song is a priceless gem cherished till date by every Telugu film music lover. A must watch as a pure Classic of Telugu Cinema.
Directed By Boyapati Seenu
