One of the 5 Best Films by Mark Steven Johnson, based on the charecter of the same name which appeared in Marvel Comics. It is an emotional story of a Stunt motorcyclist Johnny Blaze gives up his soul to become a hellblazing vigilante, to fight against power hungry Blackheart, the son of the devil himself.Awesome flick if you like some cheesy fun It is undoubtedly a highly commendable and memorable piece of work by three masters together, Nicholas Cage, Eva Mendes and Mark Steven Johnson. The film has moments to cherish, scenes which would make you cry and it defines loves in the most poetic manner. A pure cinematic gem by the maestro film-maker, Mark Steven Johnson. I'd like to say that I really enjoyed this movie. I have read a lot of the bad hype that the flick has receieved, and I believe that this is partly due to the fact that people go into these types of movies expecting amazing advances in cinematography as well as a gripping and dramatic plot.  A well directed movie straight from the heart of the director and brilliantly supported by all the actors.
